古代丝绸之路不仅是商贸之路，更是文化与科技的交融通道。作为古代东西方文明交流的桥梁，丝绸之路促进了不同文明在天文地理与工艺技术等领域的交流互鉴，推动了人类社会的科技文化创新，对沿线文明的发展产生了深远而积极的影响。在当今航天与人工智能飞速发展的时代，天文学与科技的进步将引领人类进一步探索元宇宙与外太空的全新世界。为深入探讨古代丝绸之路在天文科技领域的卓越成就与文明价值，兹定于2026年5月29—5月31日由兰州大学、敦煌研究院与中国科学技术大学在兰州联合举办以“古代丝绸之路上的天文与科技”为主题的第三届世界文明对话论坛。

The ancient Silk Road was not merely a trade route, but also a corridor for cultural and technological exchange. As a bridge connecting Eastern and Western civilizations, the Silk Road facilitated mutual learning in astronomy, geography, crafts, and technology, driving scientific, technological, and cultural innovation and exerting a far-reaching positive impact on civilizations along its path. In our era of rapid advances in space exploration and artificial intelligence, progress in astronomy and technology will guide humanity toward new frontiers in the metaverse and outer space. To explore the outstanding achievements and civilizational value of the ancient Silk Road in astronomy, science, and technology, Lanzhou University(LZU), the Dunhuang Academy, and the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) will jointly host the Third Forum on Dialogue of World Civilizations under the theme "Astronomy, Science and Technology on the Ancient Silk Road" from May 29 to 31, 2026, in Lanzhou.
